Microsoft BINGing "decision engine"

So this is reincarnation of LIVE search engine. Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer launched the new image of its search engine technology and BING it. This is being in discussion that it is rebranding of LIVE search engine but Microsoft team believes that it is new approach to go beyond search pattern now-a-days and call it a decision engine. Bing is supposed to help you make smarter, faster decisions with added features that deliver the best results, presented in a more organized way to simplify key tasks and help you make important decisions faster.

Some of the new components Web Groups, Bing Health, Best Match, Quick Previews and Explore Pane would be part of Bing Search. Bing engine features like Cashback give money back on great products, and Price Predictor, which actually tells you when to buy an airline ticket in order to help get you the best price — help you make smarter decisions, and put money back in your pocket.

“Purchase Decision, Planning a Trip, Researching a Health Condition and Finding a Local Business are the four key verticals of Bing Search Engine apart from many other key development areas”

Bing comprises some huge development to Microsoft Live Engine’ existing searches, such as entity extraction and expansion, query intent recognition and document summarization technology. The whole gamut will deliver results based on the query to offer more relevant decision-making tools that will help the users to find a new search engine as per their expectations and a whole new experience to the users.

Now when “LIVE” has become new decision engine “Bing” there are certain uncertainties that the online industry still waiting to answer:

--Will the rebranding of LIVE will be a success…

--Is it really going to provide new experience to the end users…

--What new it will bring to the online search industry…

--and …..will it make any difference in the search trend today

We have to wait and watch to find the answer of these questions and many others related to this big change in the search engine world history.

best wishes to the Microsoft BING !!
